Murata Selects Avnet Electronics Marketing for Annual Corporate Award

Smyrna, GA, September 25, 2007 - Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a world-leading innovator in electronics and the largest global supplier of ceramic passive components, announced today that it has selected Avnet Electronics Marketing to receive the company’s Corporate Award for 2006. Hideo Sakamoto, President and John Denslinger, Executive Vice President (both of Murata Electronics North America) presented the prestigious award to Phil Gallagher, President of Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, at that company’s headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. Avnet was selected out of all Murata’s North American distributors based on their continued sales expansion and outstanding contribution to Murata.
